We like to start with an initial coffee catch-up or phone call to understand what you're looking for in your next role and to give you an overview of our team and available positions. We then move on to our more formal interviews, where we assess how you align with our values and delve deeper into your experience and skills. We aim to keep these interviews conversational and encourage questions throughout.For technical roles, we include a technical test as part of the process. The final stage, before reference checks and a job offer, is a candidate lunch or drinks. This allows you to meet more of the team you'll be working with and gives our team the chance to see how well you will engage with our clients and wider team.
Who will I meet throughout the recruitment process?
Each role will vary, but we aim to introduce you to as many members of the ITP team as possible. We believe in the value of diverse perspectives, and if you are successful, you will have a number of familiar faces to help ease your first-day nerves.
What does the technical test part of the recruitment process involve?
If you are looking for a role in our Engineering Team, we carry out Skills IQ tests to evaluate various technical skills. This provides a score based on how you compare to other participants in the IT industry who have taken the same test. These test results help us determine your technical strengths and growth areas to give a baseline score in a few places. This information lets us determine which team best fits your technical capabilities.
Do you carry out your interviews face to face or online?
Both! We conduct face-to-face and online interviews, depending on your situation. While we prefer in-person interviews to establish a strong rapport, we understand that this isn't always possible due to location or other commitments. Therefore, we are happy to offer the flexibility of online interviews to accommodate your needs.
