VMware has disclosed a critical vulnerability in VMware ESXi. A bad actor can exploit this vulnerability by executing code on the virtual machine, which allows them to access the host with administrator access. This could allow further systems access.
This vulnerability has been rated 8.4 on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (a 1 to 10 scale based on severity).
